2009
Fr. Christ has been reorganizing the Adult Spiritual Life committee
of our Church to be more focused on Adult Religious Study and in the
growth of our rich Orthodox Christian faith. To this end, the
committee, working under Fr. Christ's guidance & direction will be
providing our faithful with the fullness of our Orthodox faith using
the many resources available. The committee consists of Fr. Christ
as the Spiritual Advisor and the following co-chairs:
Adult Religious Study: Journey to Pascha
Beginning this Saturday, we will be offering a
study on the season of Great Lent as we journey to Pascha. This
series will take place on Saturday mornings from 10:30am-12 noon and
will be lead by
Mac McLaughlin .
DATES:
Feb 21, Feb 28, Mar 7th, Mar 14th, Mar 28th, April 4th and April
11th.
The format will be based on the book "Great Lent: Journey to Pascha"
which is the timeless work of the blessed Fr. Alexander Schmemann of
blessed memory. If you do not have a copy of the book in your
library, they will be available for purchase.
