Ronald McDonald House

Philoptochos committee who prepared & served 100 Greek dinners for the families who are living at the Ronald McDonald House while their children are being treated at various hospitals in Philadelphia. This is one of the Philoptochos Outreach Programs, which we are planning on doing twice a year. We also donated $500.00 to the House to be used for families who cannot afford the nominal fee to stay there

Under the initiative of Maria Kalisperis and the full support of St. Luke Philoptochos President Katina Maltas and its members, the ladies have made over 2000 bright and colorful pillows for children suffering with cancer. "ConKerr Cancer is blessed with a simple, clear mission To make life brighter for children with life changing illnesses and injuries." Click on image for a larger picture of the display.
