About the Philia Club

The Philia Club

The Philia Club is a gathering for adult women and men, who are divorced or widowed. The purpose of the club is friendship. We meet on the first Sunday of the month, in one of our St. Luke boardrooms, for about one hour after church, for short discussions and to decide what our next outing will be. We often go out to dinner together; we have attended theater performances in Malvern; we have taken bus trips to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, to the Casino in Atlantic City and to the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania.

We also enjoy our yearly Christmas parties, held at local restaurants. We do not have membership dues and everyone pays their own way for club activities.
