Congratulations to all of St. Luke's youth for a phenomenal show at the 2010 Folk Dance Festival!

Parents should be proud of their children as our youth were respectful to everyone and held themselves with dignity throughout the long weekend.  We have a great and blessed group of kids who know how to party, have fun, dance with passion & pride, and maintain their Orthodox Christian values throughout.  As always, our youth capture my deepest respect and admiration.  I love each of you and love how you continue to grow as friends with your GOYA family.

A special thank you to our Dance Troup Directors Stacy Floratos and Sue Pilidis who organized the weekend without overlooking the smallest detail: from the costumes being properly transported and stored to being sure the kids were well cared for at all times.  Bless you both for all that you do day in and day out for our precious young people.  Your deep love for our youth is overwhelming.

Kosmas and Agnoula deserve our deep appreciation for the hard work and patience they give in teaching our kids the beautiful dances that fill the room with energy and an appreciation of our rich Greek Heritage.  Their talents are second to none and their dedication toward our youth is evident. Thank you as you are indeed a dynamic duo!

Congratulations to our Junior Olympians who received the honor for "Best Costume" award in their division...thanks to Agnoula & Kosmas' steaming and ironing efforts!
Another congrats to our very own Camp Good Shepherd scholarship winners; Micheal Lembotesis & Nikolas Kligos!

To the many chaperones, drivers and parents who came to cheer the kids on, thank you for your time and sacrifice over the long weekend.  May our Lord bless you for all that you do as we hope you caught up on some much needed sleep :)

Enjoy the pictures below which show some of the exciting times shared by all.

Και του χρόνου!  Already looking forward to next year!

Peace and blessings,  Fr. Christ
